My name is Ula Chowaniec (contact here) and I am professor of literature, teaching several courses devoted to Jewish Women's Writing and Yiddish Literature in Translation at the Paideia Folkhögskola.
COURSES:
The courses are design to investigate - through the vehicle of literature - Jewish life and Jewish history of the late 19th-century and 20th- and 21th-centuries writings. We follow the development of literature written by Jewish women writers and Jewish writers in general both in Yiddish and Hebrew as well as in other languages.
